“No organization can develop and grow if it is not in harmony with its environment” is the premise of Zona Franca La Cayena from its social approach, with projects led hand in hand with La Cayena Foundation, these focused on the development of opportunities through programs aligned with a common agenda built with the community.
In order to have a qualified labor force and promote employability in the areas of influence of the La Cayena Free Trade Zone, the La Cayena Foundation organized a Seminar on the Free Trade Regime, which benefited more than 40 people, including apprentices about to enter the productive stage and instructors from the Logistics and Transportation Node of the SENA.
The training process was carried out during a month and a half distributed in 20 hours and more than 4 meetings, with the purpose of building knowledge, experiences and specific labor competencies according to the demand of the companies operating in Zona Franca La Cayena, which will allow apprentices and instructors to be much more competitive.
The seminar included topics such as: regulatory and operational aspects of the Free Trade Regime, operations control system and development of operations in La Cayena Free Trade Zone.
“Contributing to the social development of our communities is one of the objectives of Zona Franca La Cayena, that is why this type of initiatives are created to connect the productive sector, academia and our communities and have a direct impact on the progress of the community, in this case, the Caribe Verde sector, where the Logistics and Transportation Node of the National Learning Service SENA is located” Operational Director of La Cayena Foundation, Carmen De Las Salas.
It is hoped that this ongoing project will continue to impact professional development and generate opportunities in the community.
