At Zona Franca La Cayena, technology is the driving force behind our transformation and operational efficiency. Through the Cayenne + Efficient project, we have implemented advanced technological solutions that not only optimize our processes, but also allow us to remain at the forefront in terms of competitiveness and efficiency. The main objective of this project is to automate operations, reduce costs and increase productivity, using state-of-the-art technology as the backbone.

Automation at Cayena + Eficiente is supported by a robust technological infrastructure, which guarantees a more agile, efficient and secure operation. Some of the key components include:

Key results driven by technology
The technological impact of Cayenne + Efficient is already reflected in the first results obtained during this initial phase of the project:
- 89% increase in productivity: Thanks to the integration of operational management and vehicle control systems, we have reduced the average load departure time from 45 minutes to only 5 minutes per vehicle. This achievement has been accomplished by incorporating a specialized software component that allows customers to manage their requirements through optimized workflows.
- 60% reduction in operator intervention: Technology has made it possible to centralize efforts on the operations that really require it, eliminating unnecessary manual steps and improving service to conveyors.
Self-Management System for Conveyors: A key technological advancement
One of the most significant innovations is the incorporation of the Self-Management System for Transporters, which allows drivers to manage their operation in advance and efficiently. This system automates vehicle entry planning, internal authorization management with customers and vehicle fleet control, eliminating uncertainty and reducing waiting times.
The technology applied in this system includes mobile devices connected to the fiber optic network, which guarantees a smooth and reliable operation, facilitating the transporters’ experience and improving the safety of operations.

The results obtained so far allow us to move confidently into the second phase of the project. With technology as the basis of our strategy, we are focused on consolidating our position as the leading Free Trade Zone in operational competitiveness within the Colombian free trade regime.
