In order to continue guaranteeing a safe environment for our qualified users, Zona Franca La Cayena has implemented a new security system that optimizes the identification and mitigation of risks both in the logistics chain and in our physical facilities.

This technological innovation in our park makes us the first permanent free zone in Colombia to incorporate a robust security system with the latest surveillance technology worldwide, ensuring a quick and effective response to unwanted events, in addition to providing comprehensive monitoring of common areas, roads, perimeters and other areas of the park. This exhaustive control is essential to maintain a rigorous, reliable, scalable and uninterrupted record that ensures compliance with various security protocols, generating a safe and efficient environment.

In addition to video surveillance, Zona Franca La Cayena has other subsystems that make up a robust security control system, such as emergency brigades, the National Police support network, the APELL Network, neighboring companies and the merchants’ network. Thanks to the integration of these subsystems, it is possible to anticipate, detect and prevent the materialization of risks, thus allowing immediate intervention by our security and monitoring team in the event of any eventuality.

The project to improve the control and monitoring system of Zona Franca La Cayena, is designed to be implemented in phases, allowing a gradual expansion that is aligned with the growth of the park and our users, creating a highly competitive business ecosystem that meets the technological and infrastructure needs that are at the forefront of a more agile, efficient and secure Free Trade Zone.
